Boko Haram Attacks Military Base in Yobe State

Boko Haram has attacked a military facility in the Buni Yandi area of Yobe State, killing over 10 soldiers, 12 policemen, and several civilians. The attack occurred yesterday evening according to 1st view

The insurgents stormed the facility with heavily armed vans and a tank. The soldiers and insurgents reportedly exchanged gunfire for over three hours, until the soldiers finally repelled them. 
Authorities have reportedly been reluctant to share additional information about the attack with the press.
