How To Prevent The Deadly Disease Called EBOLA

Ravaging Ebola Virus Disease which has killed over 500 people in neighbouring West Africa countries has hit Lagos. True or false; we all need to be aware of the symptoms and necessary preventive measures to take in reducing or stopping the spread of this deadly virus in our dear country. Early symptoms of this disease include fever, headache, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, sore throat, backache, and joint pains. Later symptoms include bleeding from the eyes, ears and nose, mouth and rectum, eye swelling, swelling of the genitals and rashes all over the body that often contain blood.
It could progress to coma and shock. I want us to know that staying away from that hospital will not in any way stop the spread of this virus among the people. The Liberian who brought the virus into Nigeria, obviously sat in the plane with other Nigerians, and also passed through airport officials. Therefore, the following are the preventive measures we need to take, rather than avoiding the 'said' hospital: Have a personal hand sanitizer and use it as frequent as possible (like every 30 minutes). Do not buy and eat any fruit directly without washing it very well. Stay away from eating any meat that you do not know it's source, especially our lovely 'Suya'. Avoid putting your hands into your mouth or biting our finger, we need to consciously stop for now). Try as much as you can to avoid unnecessary handshakes for now, or immediately after, use your sanitizer.Unlike HIV, Ebola can be spread through contact with body sweat or saliva, so take caution wen you board any ‘Mass Transit’. Generally, avoid having contacts with body fluid. Consider bathing as often as you can. Most importantly, get more information about Ebola, it's free on google. Please stay safe and healthy.
