Maltina Dance: Season 8 kicks off

eason 8 of the popular TV family dance show, Maltina Dance All has started in earnest.
The 8th edition of the show was unveiled in Lagos on Saturday, June 21 at the foyer of the Silverbird Galleria, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Guests, shoppers and movie goers present at the event were astonished by the entertainment they got when ten dancers suddenly appeared on the scene, dancing to thrill.

Season 8, tagged The Rhythm of Happiness will chronicle new dance styles known as Rhythm of Happiness Dance (ROHD), while consumers and other Nigerians are encouraged to come up with their own rhythm of happiness to win exciting prizes.
Each year, Maltina Dance All hits the public with a unique theme that drives the activation of the season in question.
It would be recalled that the theme for Season 5 was the ‘Biggest Maltina Dance All’ while Season 6 had the ‘Most Spectacular MDA’ and it was ‘The Evolution’ for Season 7.
The 2014 edition will see the winning family going home with the grand prize of a whooping sum of N10 million, just as the first and second runners up will also get N3 million and N1 million respectively, a considerable increase from the N6 million, N1 million and N500, 000 won last year respectively by contestants.
The show proper will be preceded by regional auditions which will kick off in Port Harcourt at the Atrium Event Center, Lagos – National Theatre and Abuja – Nicon Luxury Hotel.
